Schools Network Access Program (SNAP)

If you are studying VCE or VCAL at NGSC, and you want to apply to RMIT, take the following steps.

Step 1: Check out the RMIT programs that interest you

RMIT has 400 programs, ranging from apprenticeships to diplomas, associate degrees, degrees and postgraduate programs.

Step 2: See NGSC’s Careers Coordinator

Talk to your school about applying for SNAP so that your school can consider endorsing you.
Check the SNAP minimum requirements for English if you are applying for a degree and associate degree program.

Step 3: Apply for programs

Apply for your chosen program(s) through VTAC.

Step 4: Apply for equity consideration.

Apply for equity access through VTAC, SEAS by 8 October 2013 and choose ‘Category 1: Personal information and location’.

In Category 1, answer ‘yes’ to the question: ‘Would you like to be considered for programs relating to one or more of the above criteria based on the information provided in your registration and course application?’

Tell your careers coordinator you are applying for SNAP at RMIT, so your school can consider endorsing you

RMIT will apply the SNAP re-ranking in selection in early January.

Step 5: Apply for scholarships through

VTAC
direct to RMIT Scholarships.

Step 6: Get a head start with study and learning advice before your program starts

Attend a free workshop or download online learning resources to assist you with preparing for university life, improve your study, writing and math skills.
